These terms apply to everything you buy from us, online or in person. By buying or taking part in a session, you agree to them. "You" means the participant, or the parent or guardian buying on their behalf.
2. Buying from us
- All prices are in pounds sterling and include any applicable taxes.
- One-off purchases (Kickstart, drop-in classes and class passes) are paid by card online. Card payments are processed by Paysafe. We do not see or store your card details.
- Monthly memberships are paid by Direct Debit through GoCardless and are protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee.
- Personal and small group coaching packs are arranged directly with us.
- Your contract with us starts when we confirm your payment by email.
3. Refunds & cancellations
Our refund policy
All products are non-refundable, except where set out below or where the law says otherwise. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Your 14-day right to cancel
If you buy online or by phone, you can cancel within 14 days of purchase. Email [email protected] or call us.
- If no sessions have been used, we refund you in full.
- If you asked us to start within the 14 days and some sessions have been used, we refund the amount paid less the value of sessions used.
- Once all sessions in a purchase have been used, the right to cancel no longer applies.
- A drop-in booked for a specific class date is not covered by the 14-day right.
Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days of your cancellation.
When we will always refund
- We cancel a session and cannot offer you a reasonable alternative.
- A service is not provided with reasonable care and skill, or is not as described, and we cannot put it right.
4. Session cancellations & no-shows
This applies to personal training, small group coaching and Kickstart sessions.
- Give at least 12 hours' notice to cancel or rearrange a session.
- A session cancelled or rearranged with less than 12 hours' notice, or missed without notice, counts as used. It is charged at our current personal training rate, which is £35 per session.
- Kickstart includes four prepaid sessions. If a Kickstart session is lost through a late cancellation or no-show, any extra session needed to complete the programme is charged at the same rate.
- If we need to cancel a session, we will rearrange it at no cost to you.
5. Monthly memberships
- Memberships renew each month on your renewal date until you cancel.
- To cancel or change your membership, give at least 7 days' notice before your renewal date. With less notice, the next month is charged and your membership continues until the end of that month.
- Ascend memberships require completion of the Kickstart Programme first.
- Monthly session allowances are for use within that month.
- You can also cancel your Direct Debit with your bank. Please tell us too so we can close your membership.
6. Drop-ins & class passes
- A drop-in is valid for one class.
- The Pilates 5 Class Pass is valid for 60 days from purchase. Unused classes expire after that date.
- Passes are personal to the buyer and cannot be transferred.
7. Health, safety & risk
- Exercise carries some risk of injury. By taking part, you accept the risks that are a normal part of physical training.
- Tell your coach before training about any injury, illness, pregnancy or medical condition that could affect you. If you are unsure whether exercise is safe for you, speak to your GP first.
- Do not train under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Follow your coach's instructions and our safety rules at all times.
- Our coaches can provide first aid. We will call emergency services where needed.
- You are responsible for your personal belongings.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
8. Under 18s
Participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian agree to these terms on their behalf. Youth sessions are for ages 10 to 16.
9. Photos & filming
We sometimes take photos and video in the gym for our website and social media. We will only use images in which you can be identified if you have agreed. You can withdraw your agreement at any time by emailing us, and we will stop using those images in new content. For under 18s, we need a parent or guardian's agreement.
10. Changes, complaints & law
- We may change prices or timetables. We give members at least 14 days' notice of any price change.
- If you are unhappy with anything, contact us at [email protected]. We aim to respond within 5 working days.
- These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and the courts of Northern Ireland have jurisdiction.
